Do you provide the alcohol?

As required by law, we are a “dry bar” for hire meaning we can’t sell or provide the alcohol. We do however provide everything else including bartenders, barbacks, mixers, garnishments and more to make your event perfect! All of the alcohol after the event stays with the host.

What types of events do you attend?

We can do almost any event! We are very popular with weddings, quinceañeras, bridal showers, bachelor and bachelorettes, to holidays, birthdays, brunches, company events and private dinners.

Where are you located?

Do you charge for travel?

We are located in Mesilla, NM outside of  Las Cruces, New Mexico, but we can travel to you within our territory. We serve El Paso, TX, Las Cruces, Ruidoso, NM, Horizon City, TX, Anothony, NM, and even Deming, NM. 

 

For anyone events located outside of Dona Ana & El Paso county, please inquire to see if we can make it our your way! Gas and travel expenses are typically included in your service, unless we are traveling more than 50 miles from our home base.

What is your deposit policy?

We require a small $100 deposit to reserve your date when the event is more than 6 months in advance. We then break up payments to fit your needs. We typically require 50% of the service fees 90 days prior to your event and the remainder can be paid 30 days prior to the event. Deposits are non-refundable unless previously discussed and in writing. 

 

Why are the beer donkeys typically 2 hours and the bar service 4? Can this be changed?

Although our donkeys are domestic and trained, they are still farm animals and they can get tired or cranky just like a person can. The mini donkeys carry heavy packs with beverages can get physically exhausted or overstimulated after a couple of hours. Unless there is a designated corral to allow the donkeys to rest and take breaks, we only allow them work for aprox 2 hours at a time to ensure their health and everyone's safety. The bartending service is a standard 4 hours or less, but more time can be added if needed. Additional hours can be discussed and purchased ahead of time for a discounted rate. Please inquire about additional hourly discounts.

We understand that events can be really fun and busy and we may be asked to work beyond our contractual 4 hours. We charge a flat $200 per hour beyond our contractual 4 hours (not including our set up and clean up after).  This is to ensure that our bartenders and bar backs can get compensated for their hard work.
